The big agnes air core scored poorly in our review but may be a good budget option if you can t afford a more luxurious sleeping pad. I paired the pad with the big agnes encampment 15 sleeping bag. The only reason i give this a four star rating because i also tried the q core slx and found that pad to be slightly more comfortable. The big agnes pad also takes four or five times as long to deflate since the air must exit the pad through the same tiny mouth piece. The big agnes q core slx insulated pad is an extremely light and comfortable pad to sleep on in any condition. When i got into backpacking i thought it would be worthwhile to get a thick inflatable pad that would be puncture resistant and very comfortable.
